Manta was founded by Tim Binnington, a professional hairdresser, in 2018.  Wanting to treat the regrowing hair with the utmost care, Tim designed the Manta hairbrush to minimise breakage and damage while effectively detangling and smoothing, keeping hair as healthy as possible.

Frustrated at seeing people causing irreversible damage by dragging rigid brushes through their freshly cut and styled hair, Tim wanted to create a brush that would be as gentle on your hair as running your fingers through it and so Manta was created to tame tangled tresses.
