Made by real women for real women, Skinny Tan was created when co-founder, Louise, had just had children and was conscious of the harsh chemicals she felt were being used day to day. Wanting to create a tan that had a ‘skinny ingredients list that contained more naturally derived ingredients, Louise, and fellow mum and entrepreneur, Kate, joined forces to solve their own tanning issues, along with the issues so many other faux tan lovers encounter. Setting out to create a tan that would be easy to apply, streak-free, and have a natural colour (goodbye orange hues!), Skinny Tan was born.

Today, Skinny Tan is loved globally – you may even recognise the brand from its success on the UK hit show, Dragon’s Den, where all five dragons offered investments to Louise and Kate.

Achieving their mission, Skinny Tan boasts paraben-free, sulfate-free, and vegan-friendly formulas that are not tested on animals, with some products in the range being made from as much as 99% naturally derived ingredients.

How Do I Remove Old Tan With The Skinny Tan Miracle Tan Eraser?

Remove old traces of self-tan and create a blank canvas with this Miracle Tan Eraser! With a jelly-like texture combining a physical exfoliant, natural pumice, and a chemical exfoliant, salicylic acid, to gently remove any old tan in as little as 5 minutes!

Simply apply the Miracle Tan Eraser generously to your dry skin and leave the product to work for 5 minutes before gently buffing away any tricky to remove areas. Hop in the shower and continue to buff the eraser into your skin to remove your tan before rinsing - and there you have it, a smooth, clean canvas ready for a fresh layer of tan!

Frequently Asked Questions

Prep is the key to the perfect tan. It's recommended that 24-48 hours before tanning, you exfoliate your skin, remove any unwanted hair and moisturise. Thoroughly exfoliating your body will remove dead and dry skin cells and any old tan will reveal a smooth base for the perfect tanning application. Moisturise any dry areas on your body including elbows, knees and ankles we ensure the tan applies evenly.

It's recommended you remove any unwanted hair 24-28 hours before applying Skinny Tan to create a flawless base and allowing time for your pores to close - this ensures you aren't left with those little dotty marks.

These areas can be tricky but don't worry we've got you covered! It's recommended leaving your hands and feet until last and using the left-over tan from your application mitt to lightly cover the area. Then take your handy Skinny Tan Miracle Brush to buff into you knuckles and in between your fingers and toes.
