How to Choose a Ulike IPL Device

The Air 3 is where most people start. It's light, easy to handle and gets through a full-body session in around 13 minutes. The Air 10 is the step up, with SkinSensor that reads your skin tone and sets the energy level for you, and quicker sessions of around 10 minutes. Is Ulike IPL Right for Your Skin and Hair?

IPL works by finding the pigment in your hair, so it's most effective on darker hair against fair to medium skin. Blonde, red, grey and white hair don't carry enough pigment for the light to target. It isn't suitable for very deep skin tones either, because the skin itself absorbs too much of the energy. If you're pregnant or take medication that makes you sensitive to light, check with your GP before you start.
